Hi Editor,
I tried to lose weight without
much success. I am now considering thinking diet
pills but I need to take diet pills that work. Do
you have any suggestions.
Dear Reader,
Our best advice concerning diet
pills is to avoid them. Out of all the surveys we
taken, about 1% or 2% have success with diet pills.
The other 98% to 99% of the people report NO weight
loss or intolerable side affects such as
irritability, nervousness, and sleepless nights.
Most diet pills fall under the
category of dietary supplements which does not have
the same stringent testing and regulations as other
pills. Phentermine and Xenical, for example, are
diet pills that work to some degree, because they
are classified as a prescription drug. However,
doctors only prescribed these diet pills to the most
obese patients.
Diet and exercise is really the
answer to losing weight, not looking for diet pills
that work. The reason that diet pills do not work is
because nothing has been discovered that can
significantly attack body fat and dispose
of it, though many advertisements would have you
think differently. Phetermine and Xenical (a
prescription drug) will not help unless you control
your diet and exercise. The actual weight loss from
the drug is usually minimum in most cases.
The best way to really lose
weight is to stay on a sensible diet by reducing
your calorie intake by 30%. Get plenty of exercise
by walking 3 or more times a week and the weight
will come off.
