Exercise for Cellulite Removal


 

Contrary to popular opinion, there are no magical creams or pills that will get rid of cellulite.  The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has prosecuted several companies for false advertising of cellulite products.
 
The best way to rid yourself of cellulite is to increase exercise in the area of the cellulite. The best way to defeat cellulite is to tone the area that cellulite exists. Areas of the body such as the buttock and thighs are prime areas for exercise.
 
The best exercise for cellulite removal is weight training. Leg curls and squats with light weights are great for toning the thighs and buttocks. You don't need to lift heavy weights to get rid of cellulite. Consistency is the main goal. 

Do leg curls and squats exercise with enough weights to comfortably complete 10 to 12 repetitions.  Rest for 1 to 2 minutes and precede to do another 10 to 12 repetitions. Rest for 2 minutes, then do the exercise again for 10 to 12 repetitions.

 
To get rid of cellulite, you should exercise with light weights 3 times each week. Never exercise the same body part on consecutive days. Give your body a day between workouts to rest. Your weight lifting exercise schedule can be as little as15 minutes a day on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The days you exercise doesn't matter, as long as you don't weight train on consecutive days.
 
The other component of losing weight and cellulite is to maintain a good diet program that will help you lose weight and fatty deposits. Anytime you burn more calories than you take in, you will lose weight.
